Jobs in Dún Laoghaire
There are many great places to look for vacancies in Dún Laoghaire. One such place is the Southside Partnership Local Employment Service. They release the weekly jobs specific to the area as well as a separate National list. There are often many part-time jobs on the list, so it is always worth having a look.

Take a look at the big shops around and find out how they advertise, eg. Dunnes list their vacancies here, Aldi here, Nando’s here etc. Keep an eye out for the bigger shops, find out how they advertise, and check in every now and then to see are their vacancies in your area.

The course if for young people who wish to complete an apprenticeship but for whom the minimum entry standard has not been achieved ie. Junior Certificate.

Supports for young people
If you need help there are people you can ask.
- We can help with CV, job applications, cover letters etc.
- The Local Employment Service is a free service for unemployed people in Dún Laoghaire and helps with job/career progression.
- Not too sure whether it is work or college you would like to do. The Adult Guidance Service is free and offers advice, guidance and information on education, training and careers. It is there to help you find the support you need to help you achieve your goals.
